Polaris designs and supplies process plants for the chemical, petrochemical and pharmaceutical industries, and for environmental protection. In particular Polaris is specialised in separation systems based on conventional as well as proprietary technologies, including: - Batch and continuous Distillation - Internal Reflux Distillation (US and EC Patent) - Treatment of gaseous emissions / VOC recovery by Cryogenic Condensation with liquid N2 (EC Patent) - Treatment of gaseous emissions / VOC recovery by Adsorption onto activated carbons regenerated with N2/vacuum (PCT, US and EC Patent ) - VOC Adsorption onto macroporous resins (PCT Patent Application Pending) - Spray and fluid-bed drying under N2 - Heavily polluted wastewater treatment (“ecology zero discharge”) - Air separation units for production of O2 and N2. Polaris facilities include manufacturing of equipment and plants, covering full services including erection works, commissioning and maintenance activities at customer site, in compliance with international codes and GMP protocols. In particular Polaris is able to supply the customers in all Countries with modular prefabricated skid mounted units, thus reducing construction and erection costs and project realisation time. The Polaris plants can be equipped with telemetry systems connected by modem to the Polaris central station. The last innovation of Polaris concerns services to customer: thanks to the partnership with Delta Costruzioni Meccaniche and Kosmos, companies well-known on italian and international markets, forming a synergic group covering all activities from supply of single equipment to true turn-key systems and plants. Delta Costruzioni Meccaniche since 1968 is specialized in design and construction of equipment for chemical, pharmaceutical and food industry (reactors, vacuum dryers, Nutschte filter-dryers, heat exchangers, drum flakers, etc.) and Kosmos, specialized in plants construction, erection “on site” and maintenance have been joined Polaris in a unique large facility (more than 4000 m2 factory and warehouse and 800 m2 offices), sharing experiences and competences to improve services to customers with flexibility, quality and convenience. On these key points Polaris is basing its future together with customers, trusting that increasing products and services quality and value, discrediting the commonplace “turn key plants are expensive” is the way to success.
